Who we are
Mandi R. Sjogren Duggan, NC, FL, NY, WA -LCMHC, LMFT
I have over 20 years experience in the counseling field. I began my career working in the jail system with substance abuse offenders, domestic violence perpetrators, and sex offenders. After work in the substance abuse sector for 15 years, I transitioned to consulting with treatment centers on policy and procedures for DCF licensure and Joint Commission accreditation.
Over the last 10 years I have been specializing in perinatal and postpartum mental health, couples issues, adult ADHD, and integrative mental health. I utilize a client centered collaborative approach to best address each clients issues individually. No client is exactly the same and neither should their treatment.
I am married 17 years with a 12 year old ADHD son. In addition to my training, my personal experience brings value to the therapeutic experience. I am an advocate for all races, cultures, genders, and sexuality. Everyone is welcome at Integrative Mental Health Collective, come as you are, and hopefully leave as the person you want to be.

At the heart of my work is the belief that therapy is a collaborative process built on trust, honesty, and authentic connection. I am a relational, grounded therapist who values a direct approach balanced with compassion—allowing difficult truths to be explored in ways that feel both safe and supportive.
My clinical background spans over two decades and includes extensive experience working with substance use concerns, co-occurring mental health challenges, trauma histories, grief and loss, and major life transitions. I have specialized in addiction treatment and in supporting youth within the foster care system, as well as their families. My work is deeply shaped by experience with trauma, attachment disruption, and complex life experiences. Much of my practice centers on supporting individuals impacted by system involvement, instability, or repeated relational disruptions who are seeking greater stability, emotional regulation, and resilience.
My approach is trauma-informed and collaborative. I view clients as the experts in their own lives, and I see my role as bringing clinical knowledge, evidence-based tools, and genuine curiosity to the therapeutic relationship—rather than authority over your story. I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing, and trauma-informed approaches to support sustainable change, self-understanding, and emotional regulation.
Together, we work to make sense of patterns, experiences, and emotional responses while building practical tools that strengthen self-trust, stability, and lasting wellbeing. I am married with 3 children. I enjoy gardening, traveling and weekends out on the Harley. I value clinical humility and transparency, and I strive to create a space where clients feel respected and supported, while also being gently challenged in ways that promote growth and self-agency.

My approach as a therapist is to create a safe, non-judgmental space where you feel heard, supported, and empowered throughout your therapeutic journey. I work with adults who want to better understand themselves and their pasts, and who are seeking to feel more grounded and present in their daily lives.
I specialize in working with individuals experiencing anxiety, those navigating relationship challenges (romantic, familial, or friendships), people going through difficult life transitions, new parents, and members of the LGBTQ+ community. My approach is collaborative, relational, and trauma-informed.
My training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Integrative Mental Health guides an individualized approach to care suited to each client. Together, we’ll focus on what matters most to you and where you want to go, using therapy as a tool for growth, insight, and meaningful change.
New providers will be joining the practice soon.
